Saadani National Park Is where the beach meets the bush. The only wildlife sanctuary in East Africa to boast for an Indian Ocean beachfront, it as well possesses all the attributes that make Tanzania’s tropical coastline and islands very popular with European sun-worshipers.
Yet it is also the one place where those idle hours of sunbathing might be interrupted by an elephant strolling past, or a lion coming to drink at the nearby waterhole!
Day 1 - Dar es Salaam to Saadani National Park.
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and leave to Saadani National Park. The drive will take you about 3-4 hours. On arrival, a hot lunch will be provided. Saadani is where the beach meets the bush. You will spend time resting at the beach side until 3:30pm when you will leave for a sunset game drive.
Saadani is the only wildlife sanctuary in East Africa right on the Indian Ocean beachfront so you can enjoy Tanzania’s tropical coastline and wildlife at the same time
Day 2 - Full day game viewing .
Early morning sunrise game drive in this park start from 6:00am. Come back to the bandas for full breakfast. After breakfast leisure and rest at the Indian Ocean beach. Late afternoon leave for boat safari at the Wami River in the south to the Mligaji River in the north you’ll need plenty of time to explore and your guide will take you to the best places for game viewing and scenery. You’ll also enjoy a boat safari on Wami River today. After sunset you will drive back to the bandas for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Saadani National Park to Dar es Salaam
In the morning before breakfast we will go for a wilderness walking safari. By walking, you will get a particularly intimate feel for the African wilds. Walking safaris offer a good chance of seeing giraffe, zebra, elephant, and birds. It starts in the morning with the guidance of an armed ranger. You will then drive off to Dar es Salaam and arrive late in the afternoon.
You will be dropped off at home, the airport, the ferry, or the hotel of your choice.

DAY 1 - Dar Es Saalam To Saadan National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and travel to the Saadani National Park on the Bagamoyo Road. Upon arrival in the park you will enjoy a delicious lunch and then spend some time relaxing on the beach.
Later in the afternoon you will embark on a boat trip on the Wami River where you will spot crocodile and hippo and a wide range of birds. Later in the evening you will travel to the Kisampa Bush Retreat where you will check-in, have dinner and settle in for the night.
DAY 2 - Saadani National Parks To Dar Es Salaam
After breakfast you will check-out of the lodge and then spend the entire day on a game drive within Saadani National Park. On the drive you will come across large herds of buffalo and elephant. You will also see impala, lion, giraffe and a wide variety of birds. Later in the evening you will travel back to Dar es Salaam.
Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam you will be dropped off at your hotel. This is where your safari will end.

Welcome to Mikumi national parks rich in wildlife like buffalo, elephant, lions, wildebeests, Maasai giraffe, hippos, impalas, and crocodile, there are also, zebras and wart hogs. After breakfast, short game drive within the park, then drive to Dar arriving late within the afternoon. Whilst on safari, you’ll see an upscale sort of bird species, also as large numbers of giraffe, buffalo and elephants.
